I've never watched the series either so I don't fully understand either.

I do know yanderes like her are so obsessed with the one she loves that she'll kill others who dare harm or threaten to take her beloved away because if she doesn't have him she'll be depressed and wish to die herself.

I've heard of other ones where she'll love the guy so much she'll kill him to prove her love. I think its that she believes that her "taking his life" is her claiming it so no one may have him.

I think people like them because they are dedicated and loyal to the one they love tbh. There's a lot of betrayl and back stabbing in love so for someone like Yuno would kill for you because she's so damn loyal must be very attractive to guys. And some girls like Monja like it because they ARE loyal people and wouldn't betray the ones they care for.

I could be reading too much into it though; but that's just a theory...

Have you guys EVER dated a crazy chick? if not you probably won't even begin to comprehend the reason.

The simplest way would be, because it is "DIFFERENT" and that's about it. We always are attracted to things that are different (I.E. fantasy worlds, countries and cultures not our own, etc)
As for yuno its because at the end she does get saved by the same guy whom she loved that she would kill for and killed a previous version of him. He actually fell for her, despite knowing how bat shit crazy she was. And she due to being batshit crazy would never betray his dumb ass ... again ... Laughing

I'd say, regarding Yuno particulary, it's definitely got to do with the loyalty and commitment, for me personally, why I like her so much. That, and crazy/weird things are my kind of thing xD haha

It's really worth watching the show to see how/why someone can come to like her so much. It's not necessarily instant, it's also developed over the series. At least, it was for me. I mean, I liked her right away, but, more so by the end of the series.

Of course, it all comes down to preference, and what you find appealing in people.

I think its the romanticism in it that allures to most people... ''Oh how amazing, this girl would do everything for me.. that's how much she loves me, I would never be hurt around her'' least thats what makes me love yuno so much... that and in alot of ways I can affiliate with her myself... I aswell would go to any lengths to be there or protect somebody I love.. lol
