Re: The Visual Novel Central
Katawa Shoujo and Saya no Uta are of the very best visual novels I ever played.... I loved them both for their particularities... the way they take on themes you very rarely see in games of this kind... in katawa shoujo each character had a story, you grew to appreciate your own health situation.... and you learnt to feel it... while in saya no uta, you played a whole different kind of game and discover a wide range of feelings from anger to the purest love.... how much would you say apperances matter...? Its a scary thought.... Saya no uta will show you just how much it matters.... <3

I liked the Clannad visual novel even though it was released way back in 2004.

Talking about Steam. The free visual novel Everlasting Summer (made by Russian developer Soviet Games) on Steam is also alright.

Also talking about Steam, I recently bought this VN maker software. Can't wait to actually put my grubby hands on it.

An official English version of Clannad will apparently be released on Steam in the last quarter of 2015 though.
