Young love burns with cuteness, and suddenly gives you diabetes. Just the worst xD

Re: The Flirt Thread (Old)
It is a good diabetes though. If I die by that form of diabetes I will say on my death bed to the wonderful lady that caused me to have it; "my dear, I regret nothing. In fact if I could have a second helping of it all from you I'd be demanding triple portions."
@Jester; you think I know what young love feels like? pfft. I had my first girlfriend almost 2 years ago and I'm almost 25. I feel old. And damn am I glad she is my ex. Second lowest piece of garbage that masquerades as a human I have ever met.

Funny thats what I imagine the lovely lady that gave me that love filled diabetes to say in response
When you work with teens that are nearly a decade younger than you, (especially when you recall days when the hot device to have in your pocket at that age was the GBA SP in comparison to their spiffy iphones) you start to feel like you just packed on another 5 to 10 years. XD
I am kidding of course. I think I have one of those "old souls" things.
Re: The Flirt Thread (Old)
Shushhhhh no more sugar coated sappy words for these ears....eyes? XD

Nuuuuu, its the Flirt Thread and I am the type of guy to say sugar coated sappy words to attract lovely lady vampires like yourself
Hmm got a point. I'm pretty sure most in my grade back in grade school didn't.

Re: The Flirt Thread (Old)
The GBA SP, now you're taking me back I know what you mean. Technology moves so fast that it makes people in their mid 20's, like us, feel old. We'll feel practically ancient by the time we hit our 30's. Hopefully by then there will be cheap virtual reality that can help us forget about our age troubles. Yeah, I don't want to trouble you guys with the depressing state of my love life (or lack thereof) any further.

Yeah, people like us grew up on going outside and playing or watching Saturday morning cartoons, now it's like -BOOM!- future time, technology is here

Re: The Flirt Thread (Old)
And even then its pretty disapointing in comparison to the future shown to us in BTTF2 (which a lot of it was plausible, including the flying cars) or The Jetsons.
I think its fairly debatable if all this easily accessable and advanced technology is good for humanity. Hell; in some cases (such as the oil industry) humanity is keen on keeping technology and the betterment of all mankind held back.
But thats a topic for a different thread. Probably under Serious Talk or Real Life categories.

Re: The Flirt Thread (Old)
Exactly. When I was a kid I thought we would have robot servants in no time and that space travel would be common. I'm thankful though that I was part of the last generation that played outside and used their imagination to entertain themselves.
The development of technology is uneven and some sectors progress faster than others. Access to technology is another thorny point of course, with new technology taking a while to filter down to all sectors of society. Like you said though, we probably shouldn't go into too much detail on this thread.
