Recommendations.

I've thought about Crunchyroll before, but never signed up.
I'm not sure it would be worth it for me...

I used to torrent stuff as well but I lost that drive at some point. Now, I rarely do. Maybe I just got a better appreciation for anime since I started making my own stuff now... I dunno...

Same here. I did go on like one site (justdubs.com) just to download some episodes of certain animes since I couldn't find and live torrents of those anime. I use the firefox add on Download Helper (its free) to download the flv or MP4 file of the video then if need be just go and convert the files with DVDvideosoft suit which is completely free as well.

THE best formatting program I've ever used is called "Format Factory".
It can pretty much convert anything->anything.

I use it for almost all of my video/audio editing needs without hassle, or problem.
