SITUATION #2
This is like the previous Situation topic. Just different options. You are confronted with two options and you have to choose one. You can say in the comments section what option you would choose and why you would choose it. Thanks.
Option A- Your one true love will be summoned to your side, no matter where they originally came from. You two can then live together for one year. After the year has passed you'll die.
Option B-You'll live a life that is totally loveless but one that is healthy. You'll be successful in every pursuit other than love. You'll be successful in the career of your choice etc. You'll live to a ripe old age.

Hmm tough one. But. Option one doesn't say I won't be successful in other things within that year.
Option A.

Re: SITUATION #2
option A because well life wouldn't really be fun if you're just successful in everything except in love (idk this is just what I think right now XD)

Re: SITUATION #2
option B...
i have certain things in life which i give more priority than love currently..
i wish to fulfill them before anything else.. and they aren't stuffs which can be completed in one or two years but will at least take a decade or two(or even more)
so.... i cant afford to die for love

Re: SITUATION #2
Thanks for the responses everyone. I would probably choose option A. To be able to meet your true love, that you may not otherwise get to know, trumps everything for me. One would have to cram everything into that year though.

Re: SITUATION #2
I'd choose option A.
mainly because my health sucks to begin with so B could never happen regardless... but in order to spend a year with someone you truly love, I think it would be worth it. <3

I'm inclined to choose Option A, but, I have to ask... do you both die together, or is it that only you die, leaving them behind? If you die together, as long as they would be fine with it as well, I'd choose Option A. If only one of us, such as I died, leaving the person I loved behind, well, I'd rather choose Option B and take the hit, and have them live on to be happy in their own way, than give them happiness only to take it away by my death. I have to consider the other person.

so you want that option A.... where the other person also dies? i guess life is more important than happiness... so dont u think we should wish that our loved ones should live for ever rather than dying with us if we are going to..? :/

In option A only you die. Your loved one will be able to live on with the memories of that special year at least.

Re: SITUATION #2
No, unfortunately not. If one chooses Option B then it is a life that is totally loveless. A life even without superficial love.

Firstly, I don't think living forever, for anyone, would be appealing. Speaking purely philosophically, an endless existence would be torture, as all friends, family, and loved ones would be seen to death innumerable numbers of times. That would be more than one person should have to witness. I meant in my response that if the other person would choose option A, and we'd both live happily for a year together, then I would be inclined to choose it. However, that not being the case, I'd much rather choose Option B, and let the person live on happily in their own way, while I take the emotional hit of not being loved, so that they can be :p
