Anime in your growth!

Hey guys, up with a new thread! for all of us that obviously seem to hold a strong affection as goes to anime.. how many of the people here really did grow up with it...?
What shows did you grow up with.. or did you just randomly stumble upon an anime someday and decide to watch it one day?

me personally, I grew up with pokemon.. later this was followed by Digimon and Bayblade.. eventually b-daman and duel masters followed.. mostly shounen anime.. which I loved, kinda ironic for a shoujo anime lover <3

hamtaro,ninja kids, digimon, pokemon, cardcaptor sakura, dango, shin chan and more

When I was growing up, I remember Hamtaro on the tv, but never really watched it. I did, however, watch Card Captor Sakura (or "Card Captors", as it was called), the odd episode of Sailor Moon, Pokemon, Digimon, Medabots, Inuyasha, Gundam Wing, and some other shows like Full Metal Alchemist and Trigun as I got older.

Slamdunk is my very first anime. Thus it holds a special place in my heart <3 Pokemon and Doraemon

I remember watching pokemon when I was little thats pretty much all I remember

Ahhhh there has been many anime that has affected my outlook on not just the new media, but also on life, some anime have such a good message, i wouldn't like anything more than to take it with me, and I'm glad to have done so on many occasions.

I pretty much grew up on it. As a 90's kid, I was bombarded with anime on television, haha. My family didn't really agree with or understand it however, but I still indulged in it.

Dragonball, Dragonball Z, Rurouni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hokusho, Tenchi Muyo, Sailor Moon, Inuyasha, Pokemon, Digimon, Gundam, and a bunch of stuff I'm probably not even remembering, haha.
