What's your favorite Final Battle or Boss fight? (SPOILERS)

I've always been a sucker for a good final fight. One that where the protagonist is fully tested against his foe. Whether it be for the fate of the world or even to settle a score between men. Tell me WHY its your favorite fight in detail!

Here is my favorite 3 Final Battles in Video Games:

5. Toon Link VS Ganondorf (LoZ: Wind Waker (latter half) (11:27)

The Zelda series is full of epic fights but this one is my favorite. The setting, music and that above all: this is a SWORD FIGHT! This isn't about saving the world this fight. This is a matter of survival against a Ganondorf who has lost it all now. All he has is his anger against Link.

4. Tales of Symphonia Final Fight

Its more about the story on this one. The group is on its last leg but they need to take down their friend in order to save the world. The Final battle is both epic and somber.

3. Banjo and Kazooie VS Grunty (Banjo-Kazooie)

This is one of my favorite final battles. Not so much for the story (because it was really just so Banjo and Kazooie to take down the evil witch (hopefully) once and for all.
I love this fight for its music, setting and how its a real test of your ablities that you have learned in the game. I do prefer the sequel as an adventure but the first game has the better final battle.

2. Megaman Trigger VS Megaman Juno (Megaman Legends 1)

In this case the first game also had the better fight. I maybe nostalgia blinded but I don't care. My list. XD
I always felt I was under real pressure for time to take down Juno. I felt every second counted or everyone on the island I fought so hard to protect get to know was going to die. And even then Juno tested my skills and equipment. And that music and sterile environment... this was his territory. This is one of the reasons WHY MML1 is one of my all time favorite games.

1. Old Snake VS Liquid Ocelot (Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots)

This is about the fight, setting, music and most of all... the spirit. When it came down to it this fight was a fight between rivals or brothers or warriors. But most of all... between men. Every kick, grapple, punch... they are too me; art. This was the perfect ending to the Metal Gear series.

vs. Fodra Queen



Graces f was the 3rd Tales of game that I got the pleasure to play, and oh, boy is it my favorite. Everything in this game, from the music, to the combat system, the characters, the story... I loved EVERY, SINGLE, BIT OF IT!

The fight against the Fodra Queen isn't all that special... after all, the fight against Lambda is much more epic in my opinion, but the story of the future arc is just so touching, and it just an explosion of emotions to see it all culminate in the end.

The final boss fight for Kingdom Hearts 2.
This game series (up to that point) has a lot of feels attached to it, and adding everything up to that point is huge for someone who's invested. It also feels even bigger because you fight alongside Rikku to defeat the final boss, and it speaks volumes about the torment they both endured, and the strain their relationships had, but the strength of their friendship as well that helped them to persevere.

A truly amazing series; can't wait for KH3
...just need a PS4.
