Various Announcements

Can you guys please try getting on the forum every once in a while and posting? Not necessarily make new topics but post in old ones. If must post new ones but I want people to talk, I think one of the reasons new people aren't posting is because they jump on and see the conversations are from MONTHS - almost a YEAR ago so they feel left out. Maybe they are too shy. I don't know since they aren't doing anything.

Even if you can't post much at least a little activity would help. If you are having issues logging in, let me know and I will personally help you out. I want you guys to either come back or please join. Also when joining please make sure to CHECK YOUR EMAIL as well as your SPAM folder! Sometimes confirmation emails like the one my forum does get automatically sent to the junk/spam folders by whatever email provider you have. I assure you the confirmation emails are safe. If you are having issues making your account please contact me on Facebook or my Skype (john.dacote) or World of Anime so we can sort out your issue(s)
I MAY make another MaiOtaku account just to cover those bases too since I know many of the early members are from there.

Also I now have a co-admin on the forum. Tashina-Karamomo. She's been on the forum for a long while and still comes on. She offered to become a moderator or admin to help with maintaining it - even though I don't think she can as well as Key did since a lot of the art was done (namely the banner, logo and some of the icons which I brought over to here as best I could)
I have mostly just asked her to help towards bringing in users since she's a part of some geek groups and sites I am not a part of.

I do wish you all can do the same. I actually want to implement some sort of reward - maybe an offer to be a moderator or other form of reward to distinguish you from the other members provided you can bring in enough people. I dunno if I'll open another admin position (we did have 3 at one point) since I need proof YOU can do the job. Key did a lot but Nick (AKA Saint) never did anything put provide me opinions and help towards the domain name.

I have put in a poll to this topic so you can choose an option of potential rewards I just came up with. Comment other forms of rewards we can do. Some I may not be able to pull off but I will do what I can.

Which comes to another point; the domain is going to be reverted back to https://blargaria.forumotion.com/forum in a week since I lack the funds to keep the blargaria.com domain name.
I don't know if I will ever get it back to blargaria.com or if bookmarks and links that are aimed at the current domain name will work after the revert. I hope it will - even if it gets turned back. I can try saving it since it'll only cost me about $25 but I'm tight on money due to personal reasons (nothing serious I assure you)

Ill be honest tho. Facebook group and skype... they are kinda the reason the forum arent full on ppl. Ppl go on facebook or dkype to talk instead of here... we need to try to get more ppl over!!!! <3

As for the chatango vs facebook vs skype issue:
I wanted Chatango or a similar service to appeal to people who prefer chats and not forum posts.

But Facebook and Skype are so easily accessable they can be used along side the forum easy enough.
