Amiibos role in the Gaming industry!

This is a topic alot of people appear to have very different opiniond about.. Amiibos, they are game inventions and yet they look like figurines... they add bonuses to ur consolgames, and lets face it... they do look awesome... some can be hard to get however.... What do you guys think of amiibos? Have any? Want any?
Good nintendo move or bad? Will others follow?

I can't say it was a good move or bad. It has certainly helped boost sales for Nintendo now. I imagine the improved Amiibo sales have effected the Wii U along with Smash Bros.

Personally I don't have any nor do I want any. I've heard of the prices of those things being completely nuts and they are becoming totally insane on means to get them.
I got a better chance of beating Zelda 2 than collecting those things.

They do look cool though. Most I'd want is the Link one but otherwise: nope.

I do think Nintendo needs to make these things easier to get and mass produce more to keep up with the demand outside Japan.
At least this Amiibo thing is working out better than the Majora's Mask 3D Collector's Editions though. I fucking hate how Nintendo dealt with that. I have the game and a T-shirt so I am happy for that. I got what I wanted most; the game itself.

Amiibos are physical pieces of DLC fused with game memorabilia.

In theory, it's a good idea, Nintendo just failed to understand how popular they would become.
The inflation of prices is what gave amiibos a bad rep, but apart from that, there is nothing wrong with them...

I personally own a full Fire Emblem set.
