Re: Heart Break Syndrome?! </3
Never personally had it myself. I have had love sickness twice though. http://www.everydayhealth.com/depression-pictures/signs-youre-lovesick.aspx
Both times were last year. Once in February when I met... that "person" who remain nameless. And tbh my awesome friend Britty back in October.
My god love sickness is a pain in the ass. Unable to eat or sleep, stomach hurts, the dizzyness, the lack of concentration and I think I even had the shortness of breath everytime I was around her. And the worse part is it lasts for weeks to a month or longer and there is no actual cure except for time.
As for heart break syndrome I don't think I've had the disease but I've sure as hell felt it. Almost everytime I get shot down by someone I REALLY liked or was attached to it hurts in my heart/chest. But its really the stress of it that gets to me.
I've mentioned this story a few times: back in August I found out I was getting laid off from work due to the boycotting at the time, same day I found out my step-grandfather died (didn't really faze me tbh since to me he was already dead 2 years ago when he went into a nursing home due to advanced Alzheimer's disease) then the following day I had to give up my cats (where a month earlier I had to give up my dog) and I was in TEARS the entire trip to the MSPCA to drop em off. The following day was a real kicker: it was the 4th anniversarry of my father's death where I got a call from the guy I live with who tld me my Mom was in the hospital and a friend of ours died the previous day. The day after that the before mentioned "person" shot me and my best friend down on the last day of our weekend "vacation". My friend was in tears and wouldn't frankly leave her alone after she shot him down. I had to take the laptop away from him. After that with all the stress I was under I stormed into the guest room and let off some screams in a pillow while beating the shit out of it. That wasn't enough so I went outside and ran around the house at top speed about 7 times till I finally collapsed and puked my brains and guts out for 20-30 minutes. The cherry on top the following day was that it was revealed that Robin Williams died who is one of my favorite actors and stand-up comedians. For the next following 2 to 3 months I had a condition where if I was under any form of stress I threw up violently (which was basically every day). Even after I got my job back a month after the event where I got laid off I still had to take even more time off due to my bad health and throwing up everyday. I was out of work for 2 solid weeks and had very little hours the following weeks after since I was still recovering.
Where I may not have had the actual disease I know full well the pains of heartbreak and what it can do. It can drive a person to the brink of insanity.

I'm pretty sure I have "Heart Break Syndrome". From a particular person I won't talk about here, but I've mentioned several times elsewhere. Also coupled with my abusive family, so, I'm surprised I have a heart to damage, hahaha.
But yeah, this is a serious thing that can happen to people. This isn't particularly new information, and it's been circulating for about three years now, but yeah. Severe emotional stress and trauma can have a wide range of affects on the human body. This can include weakened muscles and organ systems, so your heart can definately be damaged by a "Broken Heart" and suffer this actual medical diagnosis.

Don't know about the body but this kind of stuff certainly does a number on my energy levels.
It's no wonder I've performed so horribly this year.
