Has anyone seen episodes of this yet? 4 episodes are English subbed currently. If so, what are your opinions of it?

I've "started" the manga. Not far into yet, but it looks interesting so far.

I've read like 4 volumes of the manga so far. It's a very interesting manga.it's pretty much what happens right after the movie if Kyon decides to stay in the normal world. The anime adaption is actually pretty close to the manga

It's very true to the manga. :3 it's a lot different than Melancholy though.

is it more like the movie?

It's a lot different but, it's in the same universe of the movie. It's more of a slice of life anime.
